Catawba County’s Soil & Water Conservation District held several contests for students in different grades across the county.  The theme of the contests was “Water: the Cycle of Life”. Tuttle Elementary’s 5th graders had the opportunity to compete in the Fifth Grade Poster Contest.  Our very own Kayli Loftin and Trenton Gilbert won 1st and 2nd place. The students and their families were invited to an award ceremony at Catawba County’s Agricultural Resource Center on Thursday, February 23.  They were presented a monetary award. Kayli’s poster will proceed to the next level to compete.  Congratulations to Kayli and Trenton for representing Tuttle Elementary!
